NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE COMMISSIONERS COURT OF CROSBY COUNTY, TEXAS
Notice is hereby given that a Meeting of the above named Commissioners Court will be held on the

th day of September 2009 at 10:00 o’clock a.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom of the
Crosby County Courthouse, Crosbyton, Texas, at which time the following subject(s) will be
discussed, to-wit:
1. Approve Minutes of prior Meeting(s)
2. Approve Bills
3. Approve Audit Reports
4. Budget Workshop-
5. Discuss/action-Adoption of budget for fiscal year October 1,
2009 thru September 30, 2010
6. Discuss/action-Set tax rate for fiscal year October 1, 2009
thru September 30, 2010
7. Discuss/action-Setting the day of the week on which the court
shall convene in a regular term each month during the coming fiscal year
8. Discuss/action-Setting fees of the Sheriff and Constable to be
effective January 1, 2010
9. Discuss/action-Appointment of Election Judges
10. Discuss/action-Report from Justice of the Peace
11. Discuss/action-Report from Crosby County Historical Commission concerning
Emma Cemetery and the appointment of Robert Lockwood to the board to replace Marcia Lockwood
12. Discuss/action-Adoption of $5.00 Court Fee per Senate Bill 1259 to fund
the appellate judicial system
13. Discuss/action-Adoption of a District Court records archive fee of $5.00
per S.B. 1685
14. Discuss/action-Interlocal Agreement for the Provision of Emergency 9-1-1
service, public safety answering point equipment and addressing/database maintenance
15. Discuss/action-Renewal of contract between Lubbock County Juvenile
Justice Center and Crosby County
16. Discuss/action-Proposal to continue to have available Aflac insurance for
employees who chose to have it
17. Discuss/action-Resolution for Indigent Defense Grant
18. Discuss/action-Vacancy of Precinct 4 Commissioner

At any time during the meeting and in compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551,
Government Code, Vernon’s Texas Codes, Annotated, the Crosby County Commissioners Court may
meet in executive session on any of the following agenda items for consultation concerning
attorney-client matters (Section 551.071); deliberation regarding real property (Section 551.072);
deliberation by certain Commissioners Courts about Contracts being negotiated (Section 551.0725);
deliberation regarding prospective gifts (Section 551.073); personnel matters (Section 551.074);
and deliberation regarding security devices (Section 551.076), deliberations involving
individuals’ medical or psychiatric records (Section551.078 and 551.0785), deliberation regarding
economic development negotiations (Section 551.087). Any subject discussed in executive
session may be subject to action during the open meeting.
I, the undersigned County Clerk, do hereby the certify that the above Notice of above named
Commissioners’ Court is a true and correct copy of the said Notice, and that I posted a true and
correct copy of said Notice on the bulletin board at the Courthouse door of Crosby County, Texas at
a place readily accessible to the public at all times on the 9th day of September, 2009, and said
Notice is to remain so posted continuously for at least 72 hours preceding the scheduled time of
said Meeting.
